Stefanie Bultje
Psychotherapy Associate, MSW, RSW
I am a registered clinical social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) as well as a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I hold an Honours BA in Religious Studies and Family Studies From Brescia University College and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto (2012). I have worked eight years in children's mental health in the public sector with skills ranging from supporting foster parents and kids in care, infant mental health, parenting support, and trauma interventions. Currently, I am an associate with Dr. Amanda Bell. I have completed my basic EMDR training (2016) and am in the process of EMDR certification. I have also done training in the Circle of Security, and with the Trauma and Loss Centre (TLC). I approach my work with a trauma and attachment lens with a strengths-based and relationship driven approach. I continue to be grateful for the best teachers I have had - the families I have worked with over the years. They have taught me the power of relationship, resiliency, and the transformational power of healing. Journeying beside families in some of their most difficult and tender moments of life has been and continues to be an honour and a gift of this work. When not practicing social work, I enjoy the many adventures that parenting my son and daughter bring, and love reading, baking, and going on family walks with our dog. Stefanie is currently on maternity leave.
